Dubai can already boast of its progressive thinking and steady growth, but by the mid of the century the changes that are to happen there will redefine the very concept of the city. Its population is forecast to reach 7.8m – more than current Sydney – the government has unveiled a masterplan for the emirate over the next 16 years.
